KFC/PIZZA HUT BUILDING
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Pizza Hut are restaurants operated by YUM! Brands, Inc. YUM! is one of the largest fast food restaurant companies in terms of system units.
The Inquiry
The building owner of this new KFC/Pizza Hut building was looking for an easy-to-clean glass coating to protect the 1″ insulated glass windows from stains and corrosion, while also making them easier to clean. The building owner also mentioned that he was looking for a coating solution that could be applied at the factory level (before installation) to avoid any on-site work.
The Solution
Flat Glass Distributors, a certified Diamon-Fusion® fabricator, recommended that Diamon-Fusion® protective glass coating be applied to the insulated glass windows. The coating chemically bonds to the glass forming an ultra-thin barrier that protects against hard water stains, dirt, grime, and most environmental pollutants. The coating is also UV-resistant and eco-friendly, which helps to preserve the long-term stability of the glass.
The Outcome
Flat Glass Distributors, successfully applied Diamon-Fusion® protective coating in its factory to 56 square meters of 1″ IG units at this new KFC and Pizza Hut. Diamon-Fusion® applied at the factory ensures consistent coverage on both sides of the surface and the highest-quality glass coating protection.
