Ocean Grove Beach Front Home
The Problem
With the beach nearby, saltwater carried by the wind caused the glass windows and balustrading at this beautiful coastal home in Ocean Grove, VIC to become heavily stained. The damage was not beyond repair; so, the homeowner was looking for professional glass cleaning products to restore the glass, as well as a permanent protective glass coating that could keep the glass clean and resistant against future damage.
The Solution
EziCleen was contracted to restore the glass and apply Diamon-Fusion® protective coating to seal all the glass surfaces. The patented coating works by chemically bonding to the glass forming an ultra-thin barrier that protects against stains from saltwater carried by the coastal winds. The coating is also UV-resistant, which helps to preserve the long-term stability of the glass.
The Outcome
First, EziCleen successfully cleaned and restored all the glass using DFI’s professional cleaning product, Glass Rescue™, then sealed the surfaces using Diamon-Fusion®. The coating was applied to more than 100 square meters of glass balustrading, windows, sliding doors, and shower screens, keeping them clean, clear and protected for years to come.
